The supermajority of the Kansas Legislature is considering following in the footsteps of Missouri and Texas and redrawing our Congressional map. This is more than 5 years before the map is constitutionally mandated to be drawn following populations changes in the 2030 census. There's only one reason to do this now -- to play partisan games and steal the power of their vote from hardworking Kansans.

Members of the Kansas Legislature,
We, the people of Kansas, call on you to respect the duties and integrity of your office and maintain our current Congressional maps until they are supposed to be redrawn after the 2030 census.
Redistricting every ten years is in the Constitution. It ensures every Kansan’s voice is represented equally as our population grows and shifts. Redrawing our Congressional map only half way through the cycle is not about fairness. It’s cheating to gain political power and privilege. It silences everyday Kansans so that politicians like yourself don’t have to listen to them.
It’s an unprecedented power grab that puts partisanship over people and strips voters of their voice.
We ask you to stand strong against external pressures and respect the wishes of those you represent. Do not call a special session to redraw our Congressional maps. Do not gerrymander our great state to win political favor. Do not betray the people of Kansas by cheating us out of our vote.
